Email Specialist (Job 21989)

Position Description: E-Mail Specialist, Remote or On-site -Responsible for the organization and development of email marketing content and production ·-Implements email planning deliverables: email calendar, testing plan, list segmentation for targeted audiences; email production and deployment; response metrics reporting and evaluation ·-Ensures email content is relevant and accurate and adheres to overall email strategy ·-Works with email designer to maintain creative look and feel and update templates as needed in multiple email platforms ·-Coordinates with fundraising partners, Brand, Content and iPromotion team members to ensure email deliverables meet strategic goals and organizational brand standards and adhere to client and AP style guides ·-Deploys email campaigns via multiple platforms ·-Develops presentations as needed based on research collected from marketing trends, best practices, sister charities and historical data ·-Cross-trains on multiple email platforms ·-Participates in campaign kick-off meetings to schedule, secure and prepare email deliverables ·Position Requirements ·-Requires entry-level knowledge of email marketing strategy, platforms and products ·-Proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite ·-Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop ·-Basic HTML and Dreamweaver knowledge a plus ·-Excellent communications skills, grammar and writing ability a must; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with rapidly changing technology ·-Willingness to learn new email software packages quickly and assist in department training ·-Ability to work under tight deadlines and short turn-around times ·-Knowledge of email platform management systems and project management skills preferred ·-Requires proficiency with programs used for visual and dynamic presentations including Microsoft Word, Excel and a strength in PowerPoint ·-Requires being active on social media with a positive presence ·-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/English, Marketing, Advertising or Information Technology and 2-3 years writing/editing experience
