JOB SUMMARY-Coordinator 1, Middleton, TN
Schedule new installation, modernization, express orders and parts orders to be manufactured. Work with branch staff , order management personnel and plant personnel to insure proper
procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Maintain positive customer relations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Review order form and/or booking package for completeness and accuracy of required information..
Review order forms, abstracts, submittal drawings, shop load, and requested ship date.
Scheduled appropriate sections as required.
Schedule new install, modernization, express and parts orders.
Process all work in a timely and accurate manner.
Enter data and maintain job information on the mainframe.
Correspond with branch staff to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
Identify and resolve problems as part of the daily duties.
Maintain positive customer relationships.
Escalate problems to manager for instructions on how to resolve
Process jobs by requested onsite or ship date.
Attend SQDC meetings
Maintain related forms and files.
Make suggestions for continual improvement
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One or more years of related work experience.
Project coordination or scheduling experience is preferred.
Strong customer service experience and abilities are required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
The ability to read, interpret and comprehend order forms, technical drawings, specifications and procedure manuals is required.
Requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios.
Must be organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree is preferred; High School and/or Technical School is required
