Designer I *Transform initial rough draft product designs into solid models, 3D layouts, 2D components and assembly drawings using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. *Create technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions and diagrams into workable product designs. *Create and update detailed drawings of designs according to changes in specifications, building plans and/or survey data. *Using specialized design and experience to create technical drawings from ideas, concepts, instructions and diagrams into workable product designs. *Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to established specifications and standards. *Achieve proficiency in over 25% of the product line design work within the cross-training matrix. *Work under close supervision for coaching, training and skill development. *Perform other duties as assigned.
